Zurich wins awards that reflect commitments in Training and Development Excellence, Innovation and Cultural Change
Zurich Insurance (Hong Kong) (“Zurich”) is honored to be the recipient of the Excellence Award, Best in Innovation and Best in Cultural Change at the Award for Excellence in Training and Development 2019, organized by the Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA). Since 1990, this award has inspired many corporates to make long-term commitments to invest in human capital, by giving public recognition of achievements in training and development to both individuals and organizations. Every year, the winners are chosen by a board of examiners comprised of experienced human resources and training professionals.
To meet and exceed the changing needs and expectations of customers and employees in this rapidly evolving market, Zurich believes that changing the mindset and behaviors of its people are the only ways to embrace challenges and thrive in the new environment. Living our Values – Zurich Behaviors is a mindset change program developed since 2017 to create an open environment for employees to bring Zurich Behaviors, which include Collaborate Together, Develop and Grow, Put Customers First, Fuel Innovation, Provide Clear Direction and Make it Happen, to life through their actions every day.
Keeping two major objectives in mind, which are increasing employee engagement in the organization and creating success in terms of customer experience and business results, innovative initiatives such as online training, Escape Room, Manager Recognition Program and Customer Activists Groups have been carried out such that everyone in the organization is part of the change journey. All of these have brought positive impacts to our TNPS, eNPS and most importantly, business performance.
