Zurich shines at the Hong Kong Awards for Industries

Hong Kong Awards for Industries (HKAI) is a highly regarded event championed by the Government, and co-organized by Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) and six other organizations. This year, Zurich Insurance (Hong Kong) proudly won its Innovation and Creativity category.

The ceremony was conducted in the format of gala dinner, housed at the Hong Kong Convention Center on December 13, 2016 with HKSAR’s Chief Executive The Hon C Y Leung, GBM, GBS, JP, as this year’s guest-of-honor. Mr. Eric Hui, CEO of Zurich Insurance (Hong Kong), received the award from Mr. Stephen Ng, Chairman of HKGCC, and celebrated this prestigious achievement with some of our business partners.

The winning companies come from a plethora of industries, such as Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group Limited, Gammon Construction Limited, Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency Ltd, and many more top tier names. It was a stringent application process from the preliminaries to the final judging process, and Zurich is extremely proud of the recognition received.

Championed by the Government, the HKAI was launched in 2005 by merging the former Hong Kong Awards for Industry and Hong Kong Awards for Services, established in 1989 and 1997 respectively. The HKAI aims to recognize the outstanding performance and achievements of Hong Kong enterprises in enhancing their competitiveness in various aspects. It is a distinguished award whereby winning enterprises and products of the HKAI will be promoted through the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s offices in both Mainland and overseas.
