Zurich donated HKD236,500 to World Cancer Research Fund Hong Kong
It is commonly known that cancer is one of the top killer diseases in Hong Kong, so it is very important that people are aware of how they can reduce their cancer risk.
Zurich’s mission is to help our customers understand and protect themselves from risks. We are not only dedicated to offer our customers comprehensive life insurance products, we also take one more step forward by supporting cancer prevention work for the public through a fund-raising campaign.
With the option of a wide range of critical illness coverage provided by International Term Assurance and Futura, Zurich believes that prevention is better than cure. Hence, we organised a fund-raising campaign last year to support the World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) Hong Kong for their promotion of cancer prevention. During September - December 2013, Zurich committed to donate HKD500 to WCRF for each International Term Assurance and Futura policy issued. As a result, we have proudly raised HKD236,500 for WCRF!
We hope that the community’s awareness on establishing healthy habits could be raised and eventually keep them away from cancer.
