Travel under COVID-19

1. FunTravel Insurance Plan provides COVID-19 cover on medical expenses, trip cancellation and curtailment.
2. Please refer to the benefit table and/or policy document for details of the maximum benefits and other terms and conditions.

What information is required for the claim which related with COVID-19?

Please notify Zurich within thirty (30) days of any occurrence which may give rise to a claim:

For claim on medical benefits:

• Original medical certificate(s) and receipt(s).

For claim on trip cancellation:

• Original receipt(s);
• PCR test result within one week before the scheduled departure date (applicable to both insured person and travel companion); and
• Isolation order issued by Department of Health, Center for Health Protection.

For claim on trip interruption:

• Related original receipt(s); and
• PCR test result OR medical certificate to confirm COVID-19 during the insured journey and unfit to travel back to Hong Kong (applicable to both insured person and travel companion).

After you have purchased our travel insurance, you can request for a certificate indicating that the insured persons are covered by both medical and hospital expenses caused by injuries or illnesses, including COVID-19, sustained or contracted during the insured journey. Maximum benefits varies depending on the medical coverage of the particular travel insurance policy you have purchased.
