3X3 basketball

Nurture local young athletes to enter the world stage

Zurich continues to title sponsor the inter-school 3x3 basketball competition in Hong Kong – the “Zurich Hong Kong Inter-School 3X3 Basketball Competition 2021-2022” for the second consecutive year. Zurich actively supports the sustainable development of local youth sports and encourages the public to live a healthy life when the pandemic eases. The venue facilities on the final day of the Game were up to international standard, including 3X3 court flooring and 3X3 basketball, allowing all players to have hands-on experience on the competition facilities of the highest standard.

In addition to that, Zurich sponsored the “Zurich Basketball Fun Day for Children” for the second consecutive year. In partnership with a non-profit organization – Hong Kong Playground Association, we invited underprivileged families to join “Zurich Basketball Fun Day for Children” for free and provided training and games, hoping them to have a fun experience with basketball.

This event sponsorship is one of the examples that we are in a pivotal role to nurture the next generation in the aspects of local sports development and physical well-being.

As part of our 60th anniversary celebration, Zurich Insurance (Hong Kong) ("Zurich") joined hands with StoryTaler to shine light on mental health and educate the public on the power of compassion and gratitude.

The “Think Good, Talk Good” Campaign was launched in July 2021, with a telephone booth installation exhibited at The Mills that is opened to public to share their happy stories and grateful experiences inside a private space. We hoped to deepen our community work through the campaign to instill optimism while reinforcing our brand purpose of “Creating a brighter future together”.
