“Zurich One Policy One Tree Hong Kong Campaign” Terms and Conditions


  1. “Zurich One Policy One Tree Hong Kong Campaign” (the “Campaign”) is applicable to policy(ies) enrolled online via www.zurich.com.hk and issued between November 1, 2019 and January 31, 2020 (both dates inclusive) (“Campaign Period”).
  2. Zurich Insurance Company Ltd (a company incorporated in Switzerland with limited liability) (“Zurich”) has partnered with Tree-Nation, an organisation who runs reforestation projects around the world.
  3. Tree-Nation will be planting trees in various reforestation projects on behalf of Zurich.
  4. For each insurance policy enrolled online and issued during the Campaign Period, Zurich will plant one (1) tree at Tree-Nation. There is no limit on the number of insurance policy applications submitted by an applicant.
  5. As a goodwill gesture, Zurich will use your email address provided at enrollment to send you (the policyholder) an email within one month upon policy issuance for your (optional) registration at Tree-Nation.
  6. If you register with Tree-Nation at its website, you will be able to download a “tree certificate” which gives your tree’s exact location and details about the species planted. You can also choose to skip registration with Tree-Nation, but no tree certificate is available in that case.
  7. You are not obliged to respond to any emails Zurich sends you on this Campaign.
  8. Zurich shall not be responsible or liable for any lost or delay due to inaccurate email address information provided at enrollment.
  9. Zurich makes no representation or warranty as to the quality of the goods or services of Tree-Nation, and shall not be liable in anyway therefor.
  10. The Tree-Nation website is solely owned and maintained by Tree-Nation. Zurich is not the owner or manager of the website of Tree nation and accepts no liability in relation thereto. Any disputes in connection with the Tree-Nation website should be resolved between you and Tree-Nation.
  11. The date and time appearing in the records of Zurich shall be conclusive as to the date and time relevant to the Campaign.
  12. The registration process at Tree-Nation is managed solely by Tree-Nation. Zurich shall not be responsible for any interruption, delay, loss, error or unrecognized information in relation to the registration process at Tree-Nation due to technical problems including any computer or network problems.
  13. Zurich reserves the right to alter or terminate the Campaign (in whole or in part) or amend the terms and conditions of this Campaign at any time without prior notice.
  14. In the event of any inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
  15. In case of any disputes arising from the Campaign, the decision of Zurich shall be final and conclusive.
