Zurich’s staff learnt from the news about a single-father died in an accident and was worried if Zurich’s customer was involved in the tragedy.
Once confirmed the deceased was Zurich’s personal accident insurance customer, our staff informed Claims team, which then proactively contacted the deceased’s family.
Claims handler specially arranged to issue partial payment as immediate financial assistance before the deceased’s family can provide death certificate.
